START TIME: 9:00 AM, RETURN TIME: 12:00-12:30 PM
We will meander through this local luscious wetlands and pavement park for approx 4 - 5 miles. Beginning at the pavilion from the south entrance off of Mauldin Road (at the ballfield entrance near the dog park), we will explore many of the natural trails. If we are lucky, we will see the Great Egret. Hike will be at a relaxed pace. This is a great hike for beginners, hikers recovering from an injury, and anyone that just wants to do a slower pace to check out what is in Greenville’s backyard! Binoculars are an asset for an upclose look at birds perched in the trees.
