Hey Everyone! I'm super proud to announce that Master Dater Events and the Raleigh Jaycees have teamed up to help a special cause! This year we're hosting a Toy Drive during Thirsty Thursday Game Night to benefit the Goodfellows Project hosted by the Raleigh Jaycees.

In the Goodfellows project, the Raleigh Jaycees provide a Christmas experience for 60-65 underprivileged children between the ages of 5-8. They receive a shopping spree at Belk, a Christmas dinner, goodie bag, a visit with Santa, 2-3 toys, and one-on-one attention from an adult for the whole afternoon/evening.

At this Toy Drive, we're waiving the $1 Board Game Donation, and asking all attendees to please bring a toy that's appropriate for a 5-8 year old. We will not place a minimum value on a toy, we just ask you to bring something that is comfortable for you - but gifts in the value of $10-$20 are much appreciated! If you fail to bring a toy, we will ask for a donation of $10 that will go towards the purchase of toys for the event.

All toy donations collected will be delivered to the Raleigh Jaycees immediately after the event and will be given to a deserving child on December 15th!

Please help us to reach our goal of 50 toys for this event!

What Can I Expect?
Thirsty Thursday Game Night will be taking place at Rum Runners in Downtown Raleigh starting at 8 PM. This event will be open to everyone - both singles and couples alike. When you arrive you will check in, give us your Toy Donation (or $10 donation) and grab a goodie bag (and beads if you're single!) From there, you can opt to choose a board game from our "Board Game Library" or walk around and join a game in progress.

Can I Bring My Own Board Game to Play?
Yes! In fact, the more games the merrier! Just make sure your board games are labeled with your name!

Does Rum Runners Serve Alcohol?
Duh, of course they do! In fact, on Thursday nights at Rum Runners - ALL DRINKS ARE $3. Yup, that's right. ALL DRINKS. Rum Runners does not serve food though, so be sure to grab a bite to eat before you head over! And please remember to drink responsibly!
