What a better way to learn robotics than looking at how young people are doing it while competing.
In this series we will talk about and see robots built for high-school and university competitions, advanced robots with a important purpose.
We as a robotics community group we can engage (as volunteers or sponsors) in these activities to inspire and learn while helping the teams build the robots.
We will have a presentation by Paul Mullins the coordinator of URC 2017 Ryerson team and other members of Ryerson Rams Robotics team.
I'm looking to bring there UofT and York University teams also. More details should come by next week.
If you know any URC or FRC robotics teams that would like to present and showcase their robots let me know.
And as I said in the email linked bellow, if you have experience in these competitions, please come and talk/present about your experience and showcase some robots built for them.
More details about URC and FRC can be found here:
500 members! + University Rover Challenge (URC) and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) event:
As always please bring your projects for show and tell, the more projects we see live and discuss about the more inspired we get.
