Interview Opp with New York Post

From: Omar A. L.
Sent on: Tuesday, April 9, 2013 7:14 PM

A reporter from the New York Post contacted me today regarding a possible story on some of our members. This is a good opportunity for personal publicity (and could even lead to getting a job if an employer notices). The reporter is looking for either:

a) someone having a difficult time finding a job for 1+ years or

b) someone who has decided to give up and leave the job market.

(Of course, I do not recommend leaving the job market. Stay positive and continue to capitalize on opportunities to improve such as workshops, job skills training, volunteering, internships, and networking opportunities.)

If you are interested, please respond with your full name and telephone number, and best time to call. A short summary of why you would like to be interviewed would be a great help and will increase the chances that you will be picked for an interview! I will forward responses as I get them. Thanks so much and best of luck out there.

Very truly yours,

Omar A. Lopez
