Donate a turkey and help St. Anthony's prepare for their annual Thanksgiving feast at their Free Dining Room in the Tenderloin. Meet at 3:30 pm on Wed., 11/27, for the short ride to St. Anthony's located at 150 Golden Gate Avenue in San Francisco. The media will be on hand at 4pm to photograph us Gals riding up to the building with our turkeys to donate. Then, we will secure our bikes (inside) and help decorate and prepare for St. Anthony's Annual Thanksgiving Day feast taking place the following day. We will be done at 6pm. Limited to the first 25 Gals to RSVP.
Please bring a frozen turkey to donate...one you can carry on your bike!
St. Anthony's San Francisco serves 3,000 meals everyday to more than 15,000 people, including women and children who live on the street and in shelters in San Francisco.
If you are unable to ride & volunteer at St. Anthony's Turkey Carve with the Gals but love the idea of helping, would you consider making a gift instead? Follow this link (https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/1439005) to St. Anthony's website to contribute to this vital 100-year-old institution which serves 40% of all free meals served in San Francisco EVERY DAY.
I am looking forward to another great Gals with Gears ride and seeing you again. Happy Thanksgiving!
