What events can I get involved in?
Galway City Social meet for coffee, walks, gigs, nights out, cinema, bowling, dinner and many other social activities! Our meetups are for everyone and all ages.
How do I organise a meetup with Galway City Social?
Just email us and we will be happy to make you an organiser. The group now has 25=+ organisers but we encourage all members to organise meetups and activities that interest them. A book club, coin collecting, sailing or simply meet for a cuppa coffee. No fees and free for all to make the most of and enjoy:-)

We are open to collaborations with local groups, businesses and organisations.
I have made many good friends from this group and I am sure you will too. Looking forward to meeting you at a meetup soon:-)

Note 1: Please be aware that this is not an official group or organisation, it is a free-to-join group of like-minded people. The organizers are in no case guides or professionals of any activity or events undertaken. It is responsibility of every member to evaluate if they are fit enough and are capable to join an event. Galway City Social is not liable for any injuries or accidents. It is up to all members to take out adequate insurance for any sort of meetups. We are all only a group of like minded people and are not qualified to look after your safety.
Note 2: No-shows for dinners where the organiser has gone to the trouble of reserving a certain number of places will result in you not being allowed to attend the following dinner meetup. It has happened before that an organiser had two no-shows to a BBQ and was forced by the venue to pay €40 for the two no-shows out of his own pocket. As you can tell, this is very unfair to the organiser as well as those who remained on the waitlist and did not get to attend what turned out to be a fantastic evening. So please always remember to cancel your RSVP by the closing date for RSVPs (usually two days before the event) to be fair to everyone.
Note 3: This is not a singles group, however we do have some singles events if that is your reason for joining the group.
