**NOTE: This event is different from a standard night!**
Jaime Barriga, Head of GMG Curation here!
On this night, we will be doing a special Intensive Playtest for some of the games in our Curation pipeline. This isn't an open playtest that anyone can bring a game to, but instead, we'll all be playing a few games that have been recommended by the community as games with strong potential.
How it works:
For each game on the Intensive Playtest list, we'll get a group together, and play it multiple times in a single night, using different strategies to try to "break it," or see if there are any dominant strategies. It's basically a stress test for the game.
We always appreciate a critical eye, so if you'd like to play some of these games that are further along in the prototype process, we'll be happy to have you with us!
And one last thing:
We've asked the creators of the games we'll be playing to write a little pitch for their game below in the comments section. If you see any games that you're interested in playing, add an "I'd like to play this!" comment, and we'll try our best to match you to the right game.
160 Boylston St, Boston, MA 02116
• Right next to the Steinway Piano sign, above the antique shop.
• Ring the bell for floor three. It is below the one marked "Engagement Lab" with a sticker.
• Take the elevator to the 3rd floor. It's old, slow, and creepy, but rest assured it does work.
If you have any questions or if you have any trouble getting in, text Tim at[masked]
