Have researched and used FMOD, researched OpenAL and also XACT.

What emerging game technologies do you believe will have a big impact on the game development industry?

Always online and High-speed Internet, slowly eradicating the need for physical media and content restrictions (not the R18 kind).

What industry trend/s do you see as moving the industry in a positive direction?

Motion capture, Always online? I don't know. Am not too aware.

I am a .NET developer for a software company in North Brisbane. My major interest in game development is around the integration of audio elements within the game.
