D&D Encounters, Search for the Diamond Staff, Session 4: The Ghost Hold

Thank you,

Good day gamers,

Get ready for the next D&D Encounters!

No experience needed.  All rules will be taught.

"Uncover Ancient Secrets!

The Diamond Staff of Chomylla, an artifact with the power to unlock the mysteries of an ancient elven civilization, has at long last been found.  When orcs steal the staff, though, it's up to a group of heroes to stop them.  Why orcs should want the staff is anyone's guess, and the quest to find the truth might well lead the adventurers across the Dalelands and into the depths of the lost library-vaults of Uvaeren."

NOTE:  For characters of 4th-6th Level.

Either make a character on your own, make one at our first session, or just take a pre-generated one.

If making a character, you can use any official 4th Edition rules source to include Heroes of the Fallen Lands, Heroes of the Forgotten Kingdoms, Player's Option: Heroes of the Elemental Chaos, Player's Option: Heroes of the Feywild, Player's Option: Heroes of Shadow, and Into the Unknown: The Dungeon Survival Handbook.  For race choices, you can also use D&D Insider, Player's Handbook 2 and 3.

NOTE:  We are going to use the D&D 4.0 Rules for this D&D Encounters.  If you are interested in helping me run a second table of this with D&D Next as a choice of the players, please e-mail me at:  [masked].

See you all soon!

Is there an estimated end time for each encounter?

Good day, yes, each week, we try and end in two hours, so it should be done by 10:00pm. Once in awhile, we end up going to 10:15 or 10:30pm. Hope to see you soon! - Game Master Dave
