Day 1: Character Creation and Kickoff

You and many others in a caravan were traveling together from Oregent to Almas in the world of Glorarion to experience the greatness of such a large city. It was to be the start of great and prosperous adventuring days. Well, adventuring days are ahead of you, but just not in the way you expected. After a few days of travel the weather turned extremely poor forcing the whole caravan to halt and seek shelter. Rangers and guides spread out to find a suitable place to weather the storm. They quickly came back pleased to report a fairly large cavern network was nearby that could shelter everyone including the caravan itself. It took some time to get everyone situated, but eventually everyone was sorted out into a series of cavern hollows for the night. It was thought that the worst was over. That thought turned out not to be true. Before you could even divest yourself of your gear, a terrible earthquake shook the ground. The cavern began to crumble and the ground split below you. You and those who were sheltered with you tumbled down into the ruptured earth in an avalanche of dirt and mud. What seemed an eternity of horror turned out to be a short minute of falling before you were spit out into a stone room. Surprisingly, a continual flame lights the room displaying the smoothness of the stone below you. Your obviously in some sort of worked stone room. Looking back the way you came, you can see the rupture in the corner of this room and the massive amount of earth that has fallen down to seal the hole. Given the duration of the fall, digging your way out seems an impossible task. You can also hear the hasty breathing of others nearby you who were similarly spit out into this room and see that they too are coming to the same conclusions as you. It may not have been your choice to become adventuring companions with these individuals, but circumstances have forced you into this situation. Survival may depend on your ability to work together to seek a way out of this new and strange place.
