Heroes & Dragons - D&D 3.5 Group 1 every other Sunday 12-6 PM

This is 1 of so far 3 groups our 3.5 gamers have grown to. This seems to be the best one for beginners and we could use 1-2 more players (then we may close to keep from getting too big). We play every other Sunday afternoon, usually upstairs. We're presently 2nd-3rd level, and new characters start at 2nd level with 1,000 XP, 500 GP, and an interesting way to roll stats.

Groups 2 and 3 play on opposite alternating Saturday evenings, usually downstairs and Paul is the DM. Both groups have gotten big so we may need to make another group again.

See http://www.meetup.com/CSDnD35/ for details since that's where changes are made.

I'd like to come to the next game if that is ok? Never played D&D, although I bought the "red box" in Jan. but have never used it yet. Don't know if I can use it for 3.5? I'd prefer to sit in and meet fellow gamers.

Sure, our next game for Group 1 is at http://www.meetup.com... you can join our 3.5 group there and I'll look and see what kinds of characters we need. You can also find 3.5 rules at http://www.d20srd.org... (just look at the first few links) in case you want to look them over to get a head start on building your character or just to be more familiar with it when you come watch a game.

Actually Group 2 might be more in need of new characters, see http://www.meetup.com... but I might be out of town, and you could certainly drop by Group 1 to watch and maybe even play a little if you want. Group 1's pretty balanced, it has a Druid/Ranger, a Bard/Cleric, a Rogue, a Wizard, and a Fighter. All 2-4 level. Group 2 has a Barbarian 6 and mostly 2-4 level characters, but the attendance has been more irregular on that one so it's more in need of new characters. On http://www.meetup.com... you can see how our last few games have been going.
