I'm looking to get a group together to play Mordheim. I'll make up some pre-made warbands for everyone to use and provide mini's, that way we can just jump into playing. If we fall in love with the game such as I did many years ago, then we can create our own personal warbands and keep track of XP and such.
There is a program called Army Building that has a Mordheim plug-in to create and maintain warbands. It's $40. I will be buying this it we get enough interest in playing. But, if someone with more internet savvy can find a free license key for Army Builder, let me know.
A demo can be downloaded here, but it is limited to the point of near uselessness.
But we were never lonely and never afraid when we were together. I know that the night is not the same as the day: that all things are different, that the things of the night cannot be explained in the day, because they do not then exist, and the night can be a dreadful time for lonely people once their loneliness has started. But with boardgaming there was almost no difference in the night except that it was an even better time. If people bring so much courage to these games the games have to kill them to break them, so of course it kills them. The games break every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break they kill. They kill the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure they will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.
