Featured in The New York Times, Ganja Yoga for relaxation, pain-relief, well-being, community, and the cultivation of inner peace. I am the first person to offer this combination of yoga, and I'm a certified hatha yoga teacher who's been hitting the mat for twenty years. Since 2009, I've taught thousands of people in The SF Bay Area, as well as Portland, Toronto, Vancouver, LA, San Diego, and Costa Rica.
Less physically-intense than most yoga, Ganja Yoga is high-quality instruction, based on mindfulness and good alignment for injury-prevention, - designed for any body. I love working with beginners, as this form of yoga is especially inward and non- competitive. I love helping people feel comfortable as they explore the internal practice of yoga. We always have an incredible group of people at class.
My yoga training was with Ananda Shakti of Sananda Yoga in Toronto, in the Tantric tradition of Swami Satyananda Saraswati of Bihar, India. It is Yoga-Alliance certified. I was a visionary panelist at The Plant Spirit Medicine Conference in Vancouver, speaking about my unique fusion of ganja and yoga and I'm writing a book on the topic.
