Annual SGSC Camping Trip 24-27 June! Sign Up Now!
The Buffalo Creek group 2 campground is booked! All we need is YOU to save the dates and sign up! CHECK IT OUT: This group campground near Pine, Colorado is fantastic. Our group 2 site is in the back of the camping area and we have it to ourselves. There is a wonderful hiking trail right next to the camping area, and for this trip we booked an extra night so we have another day to hike another nearby trail. It is an open field with no electricity or waste hookups, but we have had RVs stay there before that just use their QUIET generators or camp lights. Your well-behaved dogs are even welcome! There are vault toilets, also. This is a Sunday check in at 2:00 p.m. and a Wednesday check out at 12:00 p.m. NOTE: You do not have to hike with us. Obviously you can spend your couple of days enjoying these surroundings however you would like. If you do hike with us, we just want you to be safe and make sure that you are physically healthy and capable of completing whatever trail we pick. We hike moderate rated trails with a decent elevation gain and well marked trails. We like the challenge and to stay in shape, so we can keep on doing these fabulous trips! This is a PLANNING notification. This campground can take 150 people and 25 vehicles, so I don't think we will have a problem with space. If you want to come for only 1 or 2 nights, rather than 3 nights, I will prorate the cost for you. Cost per person for ALL 3 nights: $40 1 night: $15 2 nights: $27 MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO SGSC, PLEASE. Any of you that have not joined us on a camping trip before are very very welcome to come see how much fun we have! In 2016 we were at Lake Granby and hiked 9 miles to a gorgeous waterfall, and last year we were at Mountain Park in Poudre Canyon and we hiked to a crashed B17 bomber site! RSVP now! There will be more info to come as the time approaches for the trip. Questions? Call Marla at[masked], or email [masked]. You can RSVP here, and send your check to her home made out to SGSC. Call or email for her address. Or, better yet, come to a meeting and give it to one of us there!
