Barbara's At The Brewery is situated in the middle of the famed Brewery Arts Colony--the world's largest arts loft colony--and a former Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery Factory. Over the years our group has always talked about visiting here so we are finally getting around to it to cap off the end of the 4th of July weekend.
As you might imagine, Barbara's is best known for its craft beer selections that change weekly, but they also have a small, but interesting list of wines as well.
Most reviewers describe this unique place as being somewhat hard to find, but quirky and wonderful.
We will do brunch at Barbara's followed by an optional 2 1/2 hour tour of selected artist lofts (advance $9 tickets required for the tour--see other coinciding event listing). Unfortunately the restaurant's brunch menu is not shown on its website, but a price "guestimate" with a glass of craft beer is probably $15-20.
Parking is free at the Brewery complex in designated areas. After the tour we will likely return to Barbara's for "more refreshments."
