Well, after a very fun spring beer festival in March, the Summer International Craft Beer Festival looks like it will be another winner. It will be in the Armory down on Lexington Ave, which has a good layout for beer-festing.
We are targeting the Saturday afternoon session (this is called Session II). As before, I know myself and many others will be getting the VIP package, which gets you in an hour early. Lines are shorter, you can talk to the brewers and you get an extra hour of beer.
For VIP, the session starts at one pm. For general admission, session starts at 2:00 pm. In either event, plan on showing up 30-45 minutes ahead of opening time to get in line.
Early bird pricing of $65 is currently available for VIP tickets, then it will bump up. These sometimes sell out so plan accordingly.
Naturally, I will be hand crafting my own pretzel necklace to wear and encourage others to do likewise. Based on the amount of people who admired mine at the last festival, if you want to make some extra cash, make several ahead of time then sell them to people waiting in line!
Here's the link for tickets.
Remember, you must bring a valid ID and your ticket to be admitted.
