Games Night: Heidirama!

Enjoy a night of games. Heidi will be hosting the second location this Friday in Alexandria, a short walk from the Hoffman Center.

It is also fairly close to the King and Eisenhower Metros.  Just be aware if you are taking the metro that you'll need to leave early enough to catch your train.

PARKING: There is ample free parking in the Hoffman center lot which is just up one block East on Jamieson. There is also some street parking in front of the building that has use restrictions use until 7pm, so if you arrive near the start those spots may be available.

When you arrive at my building, use the phone to ring in at #1206.

There are no event fees, but if you can (not required) bring a snack or drink to share.

I hope that if you were new that you would not view this as something that occurs reguarly, or is tolerated. For my regulars, I hope you know that I feel that we have formed a core group of friends and you are important to me! For all, I would hope that you would not let this affect your opinion of the group and that you would come back again. My sincerest apologies to anyone who was offended! To those of you who RSVP'd a guest, would you please ensure they recieve this email?

To the 12 attendees of the last Heidirama -

You may have recieved a very negative, bullying email shortly after the meetup from one of the attendees who was not a regular. I would like each of you to know that the person has been blocked from attending future events and from posting. My home is not a place where such verbal abuse will be tolerated. What I like about our club is that it is one of the few places where geeks can be geeks and not feel bullied by not quite fitting in - I want people in my home to feel that they are safe, accepted, and welcomed. I enjoy each of you and the differences you bring to my life. cont...
