Topics that will be discussed include: - Visual Storytelling - Branding - Content Writing - Defining personas, current and new Meet the Speaker: Mark Beal, Brand Marketer, Author, Podcast Host, Professor, Keynote Speaker Before authoring Decoding Gen Z: 101 Lessons Generation Z Will Teach Corporate America, Marketers & Media, Mark Beal served as a brand marketer for nearly 30 years, developing and executing marketing and public relations campaigns for such leading companies and brands as Coca-Cola, Capital One, Taco Bell, Nestle, GlaxoSmithKline and Adidas just to name a few. During that time, he has created campaigns around such major sports and entertainment platforms as the Olympic Games, Super Bowl, World Series, US Open Tennis and The Rolling Stones. Since 2013, he has served as an adjunct professor in the School of Communication at Rutgers University in New Brunswick where he has designed and taught 300 and 400 level courses including Media, Marketing and Communication; Leadership in Groups & Organizations; Principles of Public Relations; and Message Design for Public Relations. During that time, he has taught more than 1,000 students and mentored many more across the nation. Mark also collaborates with students at Montclair State University’s student run public relations agency, Hawk Communications. ​It was the students who Mark works with who inspired him to write his first book, 101 Lessons They Never Taught You In College, which was published in 2017 and his second book, 101 Lessons They Never Taught You In High School About Going To College, which was published in 2018. Mark just completed writing his third book, Decoding Gen Z: 101 Lessons Gen Z Will Teach Corporate America, Marketers & Media which will be published and available on Amazon starting September 1.
