Tell us a little about yourself.

I love puzzles of almost all kinds. I recently started teaching at an area law school, which is a blast. Law, like science, art, music, and literature, is an endless series of fascinating puzzles.

What's your favorite geekdom?

Probably board games (such as Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Stone Age, Scrabble, etc.). But being in Washington, I have some government/politics geeky interests, too.

Kirk or Picard?

Kirk. Both series were lots of fun, but I particularly enjoyed the psychological insights and social commentary of the original. And over-the-top is fun sometimes. Actually, I probably prefer both Janeway and Sisko to either Kirk or Picard as captains.

I like board, card, and social games, reading and talking about just about anything, and meeting new and interesting people.

What David is saying about this Meetup Group
