Brits don't really give themselves enough credit. There are so many fun, quirky and creative geek things that we've done, that in this event, we're going to celebrate being a British geek. Come along, share your thoughts of what being a British geek is all about and join in with our competition!

FOODIE PRE-MEET 13:00-13:45 (Old Market Cafe):
----------------------

Wanna grab some grub with us before the event? Great! Following this month's poll, we will be going back to the Old Market Cafe. Due to how close it is to the venue, we'll be meeting a bit later than usual (1pm).

If you didn't sign up to the pre-meetup, but would love to join us, please just show up and look for a bunch of geeks.

----------------------
MAIN EVENT: 14:00-Midnight (Old Market Tavern)

Are you a British geek at heart? Perhaps you’d like to tell tale of all of your Harry Potter adventure, or your epic stories inspired by the late and great Terry Pratchett. Show off your British geek knowledge in this month’s proud geek event.

PLEASE NOTE:

Food & drink can NOT be brought in with you to the Old Market Tavern. If you are caught with food and drink on the premises, you will be asked to leave until you've disposed of your food or drink.

There will be a food menu at Old Market Tavern in the evening! The food is cheap and it's delicious - usually available from 6pm.

Final note: If you are asked for ID by the bar staff, we will not vouch for your age - You must provide ID.

Been looking for an excuse to play board games whilst in costume? Me too. So this is your chance to get dressed up as your favourite characters and play board games with friends, both old and new alike.

*CHANGING FACILITIES* If you want to change into a costume when here, please note there are no changing facilities. There are just standard toilet cubicles - Which are fine to change in, but consider this first.
