    What more can you ask for besides the beach, food, and geeks. September has nicer weather compared to July and August plus most of the tourists are gone. We are doing a pot luck so bring something to share at the beach, note if you bring chips I may eat whole bag so you been warned lol. Also, If you have them don't forget your beach chair, umbrella, sunscreen will be required, lets face it do your really want to get burned. If anyone wants to bring games feel free to do so. Also I may or may not be wearing a speedo so you been warned. Parking is available at the beach the side streets for free, make sure not to park in reserved spot.

It has gorgeous gardens, indoor exhibits and a cafe. Imagine all the great pics! Why not check it out for free! Cost: nada Location: Ringling Museum in Sarasota. 1.5hr drive from Tampa. If you aren't familiar with this its actually when microscopic algae called dinoflagellate produces light in the water. I specifically picked Sept 28th for our day due to the new moon.
