What we're about

Cost: Free
Age: 18+
What: Food 4 Thought is a safe space to share our stories with each other. We explore a new topic each week by posing a few probing questions to the group and leave the space open for people to share. Don’t worry about raising your hand, this is all popcorn style.

Mainly, we make this possible with authentic sharing and deep listening. Deep listening is listening without judgment or planning what you are going to say next. We try to be present and open towards the person who is sharing.

This is not a “head space” classroom discussion, but a heart space.

We choose a new theme each month and our topics are all related to the theme. Young adults trained in communication and peer support facilitate the conversations.

Everything starts with a homemade dinner among friends. We like to think that sharing a meal is the best way to say hello. Meals are fresh and vegan or with vegan option.

No RSVP necessary! Participants can come one time, once a month, or every week! We hope for the latter :)

Dinner from 5:30pm to 6, facilitated conversation from 6 to 7pm.
