What we're about
This group is designed for inactive or less active people who want to get stronger, increase their range of motion, improve their coordination, feel better, and most of all to have fun. I am a registered nurse with certifications in yoga, personal training, fitness nursing, and advanced cardiac life support. I have witnessed the power of exercise and group support to help people manage and improve the following: limited mobility, obesity, arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, emphysema, cancer treatment, depression, infertility and much more.
I plan to host a variety of activities ranging from short walks at the lake or bay (you set the pace) to multi-level yoga classes and/or chair fitness. This group is for all ages. Dr.'s medical clearance is encouraged for participation if you have been inactive for a long time or have active disease.
