Geology Beginners Meetup (Avid Amateurs and Professionals too!)

All are welcome — no geological expertise is required — just curiosity about geoscience! This will be a casual conversation about news in geology this month followed by "show and tell." If you have rock/mineral/fossil that you'd like to talk about. Post it here or send it to me at [masked]. It'll help us talk about it if you can include (1) some indicator of size like a coin or ruler in the photo, (2) a description of where you found it (e.g. "my grandmother's yard" or "Wyoming" or "Clackamette Park" or "45° 28'[masked]" N, 122° 37'[masked]" W" )

Geology Lunch & Social Hour (Mystery Rocks Are Welcome!)

Woodstock Wine & Deli Co

Join us for great sandwiches, desserts, beer, wine and conversation at the Woodstock Wine & Deli. We will also be discussing upcoming Geological Society field trips and lectures. All are welcome — no geological expertise is required — just curiosity about geoscience!
