This is a CRNRA program, NOT a GAG event. You MUST REGISTER with CRNRA to attend these hikes with a Ranger. Your RSVP on this page is meaningless, you have to call and register.


Join the National Park Service for a campfire, guided hikes, and a beautiful summer evening with the glowing stars overhead.  Roast marshmallows over an open fire, have a cup of lemonade, and walk along a forest trail.

Enjoy interesting, interactive programs on the upper deck.  Discover new facts about the wildlife of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and their nocturnal habits.

Receive a complimentary Chattahoochee River Naturalist Journal with wildlife lists and paw prints. Enjoy the summer night, campfire, the stars, and the nocturnal sights and sounds of the Chattahoochee.

Dress for the weather; wear comfortable outdoor clothes and hiking shoes.

Don't forget your drinking water, insect repellent, and a flashlight.
