Hello! Fellow Adventurers,

Hope all is well. I celebrated the 4th of July with 10K at the Peachtree Roadrace, FUN EXERCISE.
If you are new to this event, you can always look up the past events in all different months. This event is good for those open-minded, into cultures and loving to learn new experience. The peaceful festival is all about giving.
There are 2-3 big events and 4-5 small events through the year. Keep in touch.
The main idea is to inspire people to get out there to enjoy Thai culture and Thai food. After the morning merit by food offering to the monks, you will participate in the complimentary food, mostly freshly cooked from home. There is a small flea market where you may look for surprises of the authentic cuisine. You can buy some produce, prepared food items or even plants back home.
πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½To give back, I donate some money at the amount the ends in number 9. Nine means moving forward, achieving success and glory. Otherwise, a few dollars will be as kind. It's voluntary and you won't have to do anything if you don't want to. They're all about giving and kindness.

This is an outdoor event as well as an indoor ceremony that is open to everyone. You can sit and feel like you are meditating inside as you go.

Please keep in mind that I am not the real organizer of this event. I only encourage people to come out and enjoy something good and different from your normal weekend routine. And that you gotta EAT AUTHENTIC Thai food.

I copied the agenda from the organizer:
09:00 a.m. Opening Flea Market i.e. fresh produce, freshly cooked authentic food and more (cash only)
10:15 a.m. ASALHA PUJA CEREMONY i.e. Everyone is welcome to go inside the main hall.
11:00 a.m. "Do Merit" Food items brought by visitors to offer to monks AND their lunch time.
11:30 a.m. Lunch for everyone (complimentary)
12:30 p.m. Sermon and candlelight procession
13:00 p.m. Event ending

DRESS: Appropriately, no shorts, no short skirts, no flipflops....due all respect

FEE: No admission fee

This is a kid-friendly event. Bring your family. I think dogs will smell food and go crazy. So you know what to not do. LOL

If any questions, I will not be able to answer it. Just kidding!
Please read first and feel free to ask.
I prefer a private message to a string of public questions. It is peaceful that way.

KEEP SMILING!πŸ™‚πŸ™‚
A.
