This is a five mile circular fun social fitness walk that is slightly hilly (with a max gradient of 7%) led by Edward Kendal.
You can expect to burn approx 700+ calories in 1 hour 45 minutes on this social fitness walk which will take us through the open countryside on a route from the village of Strelley to the village of Cossall before returning back to Strelley via Trowell Moor.
Locallink L2 takes you close to Strelley for the start of the walk departs Victoria Centre J2 at 1700 or NCT 35 will take you close to the start of the walk and home leaving Victoria Centre J3 at 1700 to Wigman Road and returning from Wigman Road at 2016/2046.
This is a level 2 walk that is suitable for MOST PEOPLE. Expect a reasonably brisk pace with catching up points. You will probably get out of breath at times, but still be able to hold a conversation.
Everyone is welcome. This is also a dog-friendly route so feel free to bring along your four legged friends too.
You are welcome to bring friends, or just turn up yourself. We are a very friendly welcoming group with a missing to transform health and fitness in Nottingham so new people are always welcome.
