We're working in Maryland, locally, state-wide, and nationally, on a constitutional amendment overturning the 'Citizens United' decision, and related reforms including the American Anti-Corruption Act, Congressman Sarbanes' Grassroots Democracy Act, etc. We're committed (or ought to be), and we're in it for the long term. Some of us have experience in grassroots organizing. Fighting institutionalized corruption is non-partisan, is supported by the left and the right, and we'll need both sides to win. (The folks involved so far are progressives, but all are welcome). Our meetings feature food, fellowship, fun and infotainment. (Oh yes, and we could use your help).
