The biggest surver ever done on loneliness (55,000 people) answered a survey.

Radio 4 Claudia Hammond has a live talk with professors etc from 2-4.30pm at the Wellcome Collection, London with results on the loneliness experiment.

tickets available at 11am tomorrow from wellcome collection website, if i manage to obtain a ticket and other people we can go together perhaps?

Join us as we reveal and reflect on the results of the Loneliness Experiment with a diverse panel of speakers. BBC Radio 4 will begin recording the discussion from 15:00, but related activities will be happening from 14:00.

Launched on BBC Radio 4’s ‘All in the Mind’, the Loneliness Experiment was designed to find out who feels lonely and what can be done to help them feel more connected. In total, 55,000 people from across the world responded to the survey.

About the panel

Claudia Hammond is a psychologist who currently presents ‘All in the Mind’ for BBC Radio 4.
Daljit Nagra is a prize-winning British poet.
British singer-songwriter Jazz Morley writes and records soul-influenced electronica.
Julian Baggini is a British philosopher and the author of several books, including 'A Short History of Truth'.
Pamela Qualter, Professor of Education at the University of Manchester, has been working on the Loneliness Experiment.
Christina Victor is Professor of Gerontology and Public Health at Brunel University and, like Professor Qualter, helped devise and evaluate the Loneliness Experiment.

Visitor Experience Assistants trained in audio-description techniques will be on hand from 14:00. There will be no audio description during the recording.
