Why do you have to "assault" something?
Instead of violently attacking Totokanoolah (El Capitan), why not become friends with the mountains like John Muir?!
Isn't there enough violence in the world?
Giving Love is the best way to get the mountains into your heart!

I love arguments about semantics. I grew up in the tropics (southern India) and the only reason I didn't "assault" the nature there was because of a healthy fear for cobras. Hopefully the cracks in Yosemite don't have copper heads or cotton mouths.

I thought the climb/mountain was doing the assaulting.
