How do you Get Your Climb On?

I climb mostly at my indoor climbing gym at mission cliffs on Harrison and 19th in San Francisco. On an average day I do 5 or 6 climbs there ranging from 5.9 to 5.10b and sometimes a 5.11a. I am not presently climbing as much as I'd like to.

When did you first begin climbing? What is your level? What is your favorite type of climbing? Best place you ever climbed?

I started in 2005 at a climbing wall at university. I am comfortable climbing 5.10s and the occasional 5.11a when Im not too tired. Indoors I like top rope over bouldering and enjoy climbs that need good balance skills over just raw strength. I have climbs once outdoors in the adirondacks (where a guide multipitched a lead four pitches) and I followed him up. My best so far. The last section was a crack 5.9 but mostly 5.7 or 5.8 till then.

What does Safe climbing mean to you?

Following all basic rules of tying in and having a good fail safe strategy at all times. Most importantly I try to get m communication sorted out with my belay partner. Redundancy is a life saver

Introduction
