How do you Get Your Climb On?

I climb at Mission Cliffs and occasionally, Planet Granite in San Francisco.

When did you first begin climbing? What is your level? What is your favorite type of climbing? Best place you ever climbed?

I started climbing in college (11 years ago). Indoors I climb 5.10's and 5.11a/b. I have not yet learned to lead climb, but would love to. I enjoy top-roping/sport climbing. I occasionally boulder, but it is not my favorite. Best place I have climbed outside - Seneca Rocks, WV.

What does Safe climbing mean to you?

being familiar with all of the equipment, double checking knots and anchors, communication, redundancy in climbing systems, not being a showboat

By joining GYCO this confirms you accept & assume all responsibility & risks that could occur in climbing that you voluntarily release, forever discharge & agree to not hold harmless GYCO or any of its Organizers from any & all claims while in GYCO.

I agree

I have been climbing/working at climbing gyms for the past 11 years. While I mostly climb indoors now, I used to lead outdoor climbing trips and would love to get outside more often.
