Now this is an interesting "Meet up"  We will join The Valley Hospital Group on Wednesday, April 23, at The Ridgewood Library, for a free viewing of the award-winning documentary "Vegucated."

The film follows the journeys of three New Yorkers from different backgrounds who have agreed to adopt a vegan diet for six weeks. It blends the key issues of healthy and humane food choices in an entertaining and informative manner.

Healthcare professionals will be available after the film for a question and answer session.

 Light refreshments will be served.

being someone who is already vegan it is great to see more people becoming aware of the pain and suffering that animals go through.

Very informative. The film was well done, funny at times, however the cruel treatment of animals was eye-awakening. I can't believe what is done to them isn't criminal. It is beyond outrageous!

Excellent! The movie was stunning... of course we all need to be thinking and not fall for the Oreos, but the information about treatment of animals was shocking and disturbing. It was a good way to get a huge topic across. Great to have the opportunity for Q&A too.

Thank you Joyce I really regret missing this one. It's a road I need to go down. I'm going to watch it online when I get a chance, but unfortunately I will miss this discussion.
