Intro to HTML5 & CSS3

Learn about some of the new functionality in HTML5 and CSS3 and how it can help you build better websites.

This class is targeted at beginner and intermediate levels.

Prerequisites: basic understanding of HTML & CSS

This is a one day workshop on Saturday, November 17th. The class runs from 10am-2pm. We ask that people arrive by 9:45, so that we can get started on time.

We will have an hour break for lunch around noon. Lunch is not included in the cost of class. There is a Panera Bread and a Jimmy John's close by in Bakery Square.

Students are required to bring their own laptop for classes. If you do not have a laptop, please contact us at [masked] before registering, and we’ll see if we can work something out.

Workshop preparation:

Please ensure you have the following installed on your machine prior to class:

  • A modern browser (we recommend Chrome)
  • A text editor you feel comfortable using to edit HTML & CSS (we recommend Sublime Text)

    Hello All,
I considered attending this work shop but do not have HTML experience. Will there be a class in the near future that can teach us beginners?

Hi Ayanna! Some HTML & CSS experience is a requirement for this class. Girl Develop IT offers an HTML & CSS for Beginners class that would be a better fit for you. We have not scheduled another one yet, but we will likely teach it again in a few months.
