Want to learn how to build your own website? Already have your own Tumblr/WordPress/etc. site, but want to have more control over it? Interested in learning to program, but want to start small? This class is for you!

We will guide you through the basics of HTML and CSS, give you some readily-applicable skills, and answer any questions you may have along the way.

The course will be taught by Leeann Drees.

NOTE: We are offering scholarships on a limited basis for students with financial need. Please complete our scholarship application (http://gdidetroit.com/surveys/scholarship.html) if you are interested. Applications must be received by Saturday, May 23. Scholarship recipients will be notified the weekend before the class.

MINIMUM ENROLLMENT: If fewer than 12 students register for this workshop, GDI Detroit may postpone or cancel it. In that event a refund or class credit will be available to any students who have paid to attend.

PARKING:

There are several flat-fee private parking lots available across from the office on Randolph St. Metered street parking is available on Randolph and adjacent streets. Additional parking is available one block away at the Detroit Opera House parking structure.

WHAT TO BRING:

Please bring your laptop and charger to all class sessions. Power strips & Wi-Fi will be provided. If you don't have a laptop, we may be able to lend you one thanks to our friends at Bizdom (http://bizdom.com/)! Email us at [masked] to reserve.
