JavaScript is one of the most popular languages used in development, and an essential tool to creating dynamic web pages and applications. Today, over 95% of websites use JavaScript and it's important for every developer to have an understanding of it. It's also a great choice for a first language if you're looking to try out programming, since it provides instant feedback and has a ton of great resources available.

Each of the four 2-hour long classes cover JavaScript and basic programming concepts like variables, data types, and functions, if/then statements, arrays and loops. We'll also introduce you to the Document Object Model (DOM) and how to use JavaScript to interact with the DOM and change HTML pages.
