Hi everyone,

First, I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for showing up with such positive attitudes, eager to learn and try new things. The energy you all brought to the table was super refreshing and definitely made for a more successful class.

I hope you can make it out to the Project Night on June 18th at the same location. I'll be there, ready to answer any questions you may have as you continue to work on your personal site or move into another project.

I know there was confusion around the Clearfix float clearing method I spoke to, so I wanted post a few additional resources to explore if you are still confused:

Is a video tutorial walking you through floated columns and the clearfix method

It's safe to say CSS Tricks was my go-to resource when I was first starting out. Chris Coyier, who runs the blog, has posted countless very informative video screencast tutorials and articles which I find very helpful.

Nettuts is another fantastic resource. They have a whole video series titled Web Development from Scratch which clearly explains front-end development fundamentals.

I posted all of these links in the Google doc we were referring to in class yesterday.

So! Thanks again for your time and effort, I hope you all learned a little something, and please don't hesitate to reach out with any additional questions you may have. My personal email is alliwag [at]
