Want to mentor young girls who are interested in getting into technology?

The Huffington Post has started a STEM mentoring program for young girls (STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math). We all know women are underrepresented in the technology sector which is why GDI was founded. This intiative hopes to change that by connecting high-school- and college-age girls with an interest in science and engineering to female leaders in these fields which is where YOU can come in! You can read more details in this article - http://www.huffington...

GDI is working with them and until this Friday, you can apply to be a mentor here:.

If enough members apply, we can start hosting monthly meetups for all the mentors to get together and discuss what they've learned, what they're doing, etc. Leave a comment if that's something you'd be interested in.

Here's to all you role models!
