It covers basic concepts like the difference between a client and a server, the difference between backend and front end code, the tools needed to develop a website, and the typical web development team. This class is for people with little to no technical experience.
This class is intended for beginners and no coding experience is required!

Instructor: Catherine Zarra works as a Platform Engineer at Upserve in Providence. Since moving to Rhode Island, she has become passionate about involving women in technology. As a chapter leader and instructor, Catherine is excited to show the ladies of Providence that software development can be fun, rewarding and a great career choice.
