Since this our first class, we're offering a special discount. Only $72 for an 8 hour class! Hands-on instruction, 5-star curriculum, and the opportunity to ask questions and get the answers you need. RSVP today as space is limited!

NOTE: This is a two day course, Saturday and Sunday. You are paying to attend both days.

Session 1: Saturday March 8th,[masked]pm. We will go through setting up your text editor, how websites work, and an introduction to HTML and CSS.

Session 2: Sunday March 9th,[masked]pm. Now that we've mastered the basics of HTML and CSS we will move on to the formatting and layout of a website.

Want to learn how to build your own website? Already have your own Tumblr/WordPress/etc. site, but want to have more control over it? Interested in learning to program, but want to start small? This class is for you!

We will guide you through the basics of HTML and CSS, give you some readily-applicable skills, and answer any questions you may have along the way.

The course will be taught by Stacie Farmer and will be assisted by Zara Johnson & Hannah Bottalla.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Your laptop and charger. Wifi & power strips will be providedIf you do not already have Google Chrome or Firefox, install it before class. We will be using Sublime Text 2 ( http://www.sublimetext.com/2 ) in class. If you are unable to procure a laptop but still want to attend, please contact Stacie or Zara.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Stacie Farmer has been doing web development for about 5 years. She started off building SQL reports and then transitioned into web development by teaching herself HTML/CSS & PHP. She loves doing development and continues to learn new technologies and languages. She's got a houseful with 2 kids, 2 dogs, and a cat. When she's not coding, she enjoys lazy days with family, hiking, game nights with friends, and reading.
