JavaScript is a the language of interactivity on the web. Ever used Google Maps? Clicked on something to make it appear or hide? Seen a slideshow of images? You've used JavaScript!

You'll begin learning to develop interactive websites in this introductory course. We will be covering basic JavaScript and jQuery, as well as dynamic HTML, JSON and APIs. (If you don't know what any of those acronyms mean, don't worry... this is the class for you!)

You should have a working knowledge of HTML prior to taking this course.

Garrett Wills is a Full-Stack developer at Avatar in Downtown Toledo, as well as a part time faculty at the University of Toledo, where he has instructed the Advanced Website Design course. He also blogs quite frequently on Medium, where he writes for the On-Education publication. When he is not coding at work, he is usually working on side projects or doing bits of freelance work. Some of his hobbies include working out, mountain biking, trying to stay up with all of his TV series, trying new beers, and hanging out with his family. He am also addicted to coffee.
