The Next Big Thing: Data Recap + More!

Last week's event was fantastic!
It marked one year since Girl Geeks Toronto was relaunched and given new life here in the city. During that time we've had the chance to work with a number of companies including Google, CBC, InteraXon Inc. and more. We've covered topics from mobile development to space exploration. Our stage has hosted speakers including Ariel Garten, Leila Boujnane, Natalie Panek, Thomas Purves and after last week's event we're proud to add Nora Young to the list.

Nora did a brilliant job of providing insights on big data and inspiring a conversation around ownership, privacy and the self-quantifying movement. For those of you who couldn't make it out, and those of you who did and can't get enough, you can read the blog recap.

A HUGE thanks to Nora for taking the time to come out and share with us!

Additional thanks:
Matthew Potter of HTML Toronto
Chow Productions for the photos - we will post them soon!
