Kick Doors Open & Shoot Bad Guys!

It's a fabulous time of year to be on the range. If you haven't joined us yet, you are in for a memorable experience. Our ladies are fun and supportive. We laugh and we cheer. But, all the while, we are working on serious self-protection skills. Here's how it works...

We meet at the Burro Canyon Shooting park in Azusa (which is approximately 40 minutes east of downtown Los Angeles). The Burro Canyon Shooting Park is an outdoor range in the Angeles National Forest—so you can expect stunning views and lots of fresh air. No lead-filled environment or cramped shooting bays. When you arrive, you are "geared-up". If you don't have your own handgun, we will lend you one (at no additional charge). We have a full armory, with all state-of-the-art weaponry (the type of guns you would want to own). They are clean and well maintained, not like typical crappy "range guns". Newcomers are given a short safety briefing, while regular attendees start shooting. Like a yoga class, we will all be "warming up" and reviewing the basics of drawing from a holster and accuracy. After that, we work on whichever skills our ladies want: shooting multiple opponents, moving while shooting, single-handed shooting, failure to stop drills, malfunction clearances, and the like.

Most of our Meetups include LIVE-FIRE houseclearing ops using the police and military shoothouse (the same twelve-room shoothouse that LAPD trains at). This is invaluable training for when your home alarm goes off! But, besides that, it's where we get our best "Charlie's Angels" style photos! Safety is our priority: You won't be running through the shoothouse on your own. An instructor will be with you at all times. We ALWAYS have lots of instructors on the range! The Meetup price is $40 per person. This price does NOT include ammunition. But, it does include any gun and/or equipment you may need. You must register. You cannot just show up. We always keep our Meetup size to a safe number. If you have any questions, please call or email. Oh, and if you are a beginner or your gun skills are a bit rusty, ask about our two-hour Basic Firearms Safety Course which we run immediately prior to each Meetup. Our Meetups are not structured for complete beginners, but one BFSC will get you up to speed.

P.S.: You don't have to kick the doors open on the shoothouse. Pushing them open is great fun, too. And we'll be standing right alongside you the whole time--coaching and cheering!
