The Girls Ride 2 Women’s program was developed by women, for women, who believe in building community through a passion for cycling. Our rides, clinics and events are designed to build confidence on and off the bike, and empower women to set and achieve their personal goals.

What do I bring? Your mountain bike! Please leave city bikes, road bikes and cruisers at home

Helmet – a nonnegotiable must have. Sorry, no exceptions, safety first

Hydration – water bottle or hydration packFood – your choice, but make sure you have some fuel

Flat fix gear – tube, pump / quick fill, levers and patch kitMulti tool recommended but not requiredYour enthusiasm and passion for riding!

What else do I need to know?
All rides start on time and are about two hours in duration. Our experienced ride leaders carry first aid equipment. Each ride will have a beginner and intermediate route. The beginner ride will move at a slower pace and regroup often, and have a dedicated sweeper to ensure no rider is left behind.

How do I know this ride is for me?
Beginner riders must possess basic riding skills and experience (no first time riders), and be able to ride for 1 ½ hours over varied terrain at an average of 6 – 8 MPH. Intermediate riders must possess basic riding skills, be comfortable with single track ascending and descending, and able to ride for 2 hours at an average of 8 – 10 MPH pace. All riders must be prepared to have fun!
