Let's meet before the game at the Tailgate party inside Petco Park (see map below for Park at the Park) at 5:30pm. We'll post the exact meetup location when we get there on Friday. You could buy your tickets here: https://www.mlb.com/padres/tickets/specials/out-at-the-park Make sure to allow Adobe Flash Player to run to be able to view and choose your seats on the map. The Adobe Flash player can be found on the lower left bottom of the Ticket Page. The only available Out at the Park sections are in Sections[masked]. Please do make sure to buy the Out at the Park tickets to be able to receive the commemorative hat.
For April's hike, we will be exploring the Palomar Observatory Trail. The trail is a 4.6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Aguanga, California that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as moderate. We will be meeting at the campground at 8:30 and leaving by 8:45. Please bring an adventure pass to park in the campground. At the top, we can explore the observatory (which is free) and then head back down to the campground! Dogs: Allowed on leash What to bring: comfortable hiking boots (waterproof), 1-2 liters of water, a snack (I will provide oranges), layered clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat After party: For the after party, I thought we could picnic at the top by the observatory! I will bring some food to share! You are welcome to bring something to share or just bring something of your own! As always, call if you have any questions:[masked]
The Queer Climbing Collective would like to invite you to join us for our second meetup happening at Mesa Rim Climbing and fitness on April 25th! (Mira Mesa location) From absolute beginners to advanced climbers, everyone is welcome! Feel free to invite any LGBTQIA members/friends/climbers and allies too. We are pleased to announce that this meetup will be in collaboration with the Girls Who Climb (GWC) group and is supported by Aret Basewear and American Alpine Club— check them out on Facebook for cute but functional apparel and for further climbing networking. Let's do some more trivia at the lovely Sycamore Den! 🍻 Katie will be there to grab a table at 7:30, and trivia starts at 8. The tables at Sycamore Den are smaller than Newtopia Cyder, so we’ll probably split into smaller teams once everyone gets here.
