THIS IS A DIFFERENT TYPE OF EVENT SIGN-UP. You must register yourself on the Sunday Suppers website (, I am not registering a group. Please only RSVP "yes" after you have signed up on the organization's website. If you must cancel, you must do so directly with Sunday Suppers.

I've volunteered a couple of times with Sunday Suppers, it's a really interesting organization. I have signed up for the "kitchen, dishwashing & dining room" volunteering ... description from the website:

During your time at Sunday Suppers, volunteers set dining room tables, help in the kitchen with getting the food out, help with last-minute food preparation, serve dinner to families, bus tables, wash dishes, and help with children’s activities. Then at the end of the evening put away tables and chairs, sweep the dining room floor, and mop the kitchen floor. We love having kids help and while do not have a minimum age for participation, you should think about whether your child has the maturity to do the tasks above and can follow directions so that it will be a positive experience all around. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

As of now, there are other openings on their website for kitchen/dishwashing/dining room help. But they will fill up quickly. Sign up on their website now!

Dinner is served at 5:30, and there are usually 50-60 guests. Volunteers do NOT eat with the guests, we work ... so be sure to eat before you get there. Though sometimes we get to taste the food :-)

Ample parking on the street, if you are driving.
