Trevor Pinnock and Jonathan Manson – Music for harpsichord and viola da gamba by Bach, Couperin, Marais and Rameau.
Trevor Pinnock, known worldwide as a harpsichordist and conductor who pioneered performance on historical instruments, and Jonathan Manson, one of Europe's leading performers on viola da gamba and cello, both make a welcome return to the GCS to present a programme of gems from the French solo harpsichord repertoire by Rameau and Couperin alongside music by Marais and J.S. Bach for viola da gamba and harpsichord.
It's not my intention to buy a ticket so far in advance. It'll not sell out and will be unreserved. Sometimes for these things, people buy tickets then find themselves unable to go.
