Ben More & Stob Binnein (Grade A+ - Very Strenuous)

BEN MORE 1174m & STOB BINNEIN 1165m (from Benmore Farm) Sh.51 NN432244 & NN434227 Grade A+

after parking at the side of the road (A85) just beyond benmore farm we start our ascent (at about 09.00) up the landrover track into benmore glen before heading up the shoulder of the mountain following the walking track to the summit.

after reaching the trig point at the top of ben more we continue south down to the bealach before continuing by ascending the ridge to stob binnein.

from the top of stob beinnein the return is back down to the bealach, west into benmore glen where we pick up the track back to the car park.

Note: If there is significant snow around, this is a very serious day out and so is suitable only for mountaineers comfortable climbing with crampons/ice axe on very steep snowbanks.

those attending must be fully equipped for winter mountaineering including ice axe and crampons.

If you can offer, or need, a lift then please post a note.

any problems contact me.
