Argyle Street, Glasgow
Simple plan: we meet at the Kelvingrove Museum coffee-shop (not the Cafe) in the main hall and start drawing. If you struggle with the old problem of choosing what to draw, I can choose something for you. Then we go around the museum and draw anything we like (sculptures, animals, ancient relics etc.) I'll have my coffee and drawing stuff on the table so newbies will know we're from the meet-up. We stay for about 2 hours but you could hang around as long as you wish.
This is a leaderless event. One way to help find each other is that the first to arrive can write "GLDS" in large letters on a blank piece of paper. That will help the members find each other. Try to stay at the coffeeshop until 12:30 at least to allow time for latecomers to arrive before going around the museum. After going around we usually meet again at the coffee area after 2 hours to touch bases and see each other's work.
NB the museum allows dry media only, to protect marble floors and exhibits. No paints or liquid inks.
Let's do this!
