John Maxwell Geddes: Lasses, Love and Life
Roxana and Ancuta Nite will perform seven songs by Enescu, Romania's greatest composer, plus a John Maxwell Geddes setting of Burns, and the first performance of Tommy Fowler's 'Prelude and Dance' for soprano, piano and cello which Tommy dedicated to "Roxana, Ancuta and Quintin" earlier this year.

Roxana and Ancuta (Anca) - Roxana, in addition to being the founder and creative director of the brilliant Clyde Opera Group (with Anca as their official pianist), is an accomplished soprano having studied in Constanta, Romania, where she also taught vocal performance after graduating. She has lived in Scotland for many years now, performing and teaching both vocals and piano. Anca also has her own large Piano School. Anca and Roxana toured Lasses, Love and Life across Scotland in 2015 to much acclaim, we hope you'll be able to join us for a repeat of this fabulous Romanian and Scottish programme .
